Details

The Bolin Technology D20S is a remarkable addition to the Bolin DanteAV camera system. It's an encoder/decoder that uses a standard Gigabit network. With a single - channel networked AV decoder, it can output baseband video via HDMI 2.0 and/or 12G - SDI. This device is not only compatible with Bolin DanteAV PTZ cameras but also works well with standard DanteAV video devices in the Dante ecosystem. It offers ultra - low latency and lossless UHD/4K60 4:4:4 video output. It supports HDCP, IP PTZ camera control, embedded audio, and control pass - through. As part of the Dante Audio over IP family, using common Gigabit Ethernet network switches and CAT5e UTP wiring, the D Series decoder provides a high - performance virtual video matrix routing solution for multimedia presentations, live camera images, and Dante 4K video content applications, especially in demanding conference rooms and classrooms. It features unicast and multicast for video display routing. Paired with a Dante AV decoder, it can receive signals from a DanteAV PTZ camera or an encoder and send them to a display device through HDMI and/or 12G - SDI output. With the Dante Controller software, you can easily switch between multiple DanteAV endpoints on the network without complex breakouts or matrix switches. The device adheres to the latest HDCP 2.2 (HDCP 2.3 for network) specification for high - bandwidth digital content protection, allowing protected content to pass between authenticated devices. Full setup, control, and monitoring are enabled through the Dante Controller, which offers standard Dante features like automatic device discovery and system configuration, making network setup a breeze. You can keep the decoder up - to - date with firmware updates via the Bolin Dante AV software IP interface. The D20 Series supports Dante - compatible networked audio streams from encoders and audio interfaces. The received Dante audio can be combined with video and output via HDMI. It has two RJ - 45 1000BASE - T ports for transporting video over a Gigabit Ethernet network. Port 1 is for the primary Dante network connection, and Port 2 can be used to daisy - chain other endpoints. Port 1 can also receive power via POE++. Key features include the ability to be configured as an encoder or decoder via firmware upgrade, ultra - low latency real - time video performance over the IP network, 4K60 4:4:4 video over standard Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI 2.0 and/or 12G - SDI output as a decoder, tunable audio delay for lip - sync control, support for unicast and multicast for 8 audio flows and 1 video flow, full support of Dante audio and video protocols, and more.

Using the Bolin Technology D20S is straightforward. First, connect it to a standard Gigabit Ethernet network using the provided RJ - 45 ports. You can use Port 1 as the primary connection for the Dante network and Port 2 to connect other endpoints. If you want to power it, you can either use a 12VDC power supply or take advantage of POE++ on Port 1. To start transmitting video, pair it with a DanteAV PTZ camera or an encoder. The device will receive the video and audio signals and output them via HDMI 2.0 and/or 12G - SDI to your display device. Use the Dante Controller software to manage and switch between different endpoints on the network easily. When it comes to audio, the D20S supports Dante - compatible networked audio streams. The received audio can be combined with the video and sent out through the HDMI output. Some important things to note. Make sure your network infrastructure is a 1Gbps network as the device is designed to work with it, and there's no need to replace your existing network setup. Also, ensure that the devices you're connecting are authenticated if you're dealing with protected content, as the device follows HDCP 2.2 (HDCP 2.3 for network) specifications. For maintenance, keep an eye on firmware updates. You can easily upgrade the firmware via the Bolin Dante AV software IP interface to ensure the device always has the latest features and performance. And, try to keep the device in an environment with an operating temperature between - 10 and +40 degrees Celsius.
